Abstract
Driven by a confluence of economic, social, and technological forces, China's consumer market is undergoing a structural transformation. This reshaping of the market landscape not only challenges existing consumer theories but also presents new and significant opportunities for research.
This lecture will systematically analyze the key transformations of products in the current market through an examination of their three core dimensions: functional, emotional, and socially-oriented, along with their underlying drivers. Building upon these profound insights, the presentation will then propose and discuss a series of future research directions, offering a new theoretical framework for understanding and navigating the complex dynamics of China's evolving consumer market.
