August 28, 2025 | Hong Kong—A delegation from the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) conducted a series of high-profile global talent recruitment events in Hong Kong during August 26-28. Held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and City University of Hong Kong, the events marked a strategic initiative to strengthen SEM’s international outreach and deepen collaboration with leading academic institutions worldwide.
Targeting outstanding young scholars and research talents based in Hong Kong and beyond, the events recruitment series spotlighted SEM’s dynamic development trajectory, emerging research opportunities, and comprehensive talent support policies.
Centered on the theme "Connecting Global Wisdom, Building a Research Hub", the events featured dedicated briefings followed by interactive Q&A sessions, fostering meaningful dialogue between SEM representatives and prospective candidates.
During the sessions, members of SEM’s talent recruitment team delivered presentations outlining the school’s academic profile, institutional strengths, and its multi-tiered framework for supporting scholarly excellence.
